Mont Alto suffers loss to Schuylkill, 70-22

Penn State Mont Alto women hosted Penn State Schuylkill for their last home basketball game of the season.  Although it was a 70-22 loss for Mont Alto, as a team they are making improvements on the court.  "Today as well as the previous two games, we are doing well attacking the basket and being more aggressive but we are just not finishing our shots," Head Coach Donna Davis comments.   Colleen Loncar scored 10 of the 22 points, while Jillian Swineford rebounded 10 and scored six.  "Getting beat down the floor first half and having a low shooting percentage kept us from staying in the game," Davis explains.

As a team, the women are continuing to grow and prepare for the latter part of the season and finish strong.  They are setting goals and looking to reach them game by game.  The team has come a long way and will keep working hard, along with the coaches, to build the program.
