Staci Brennan starts her fourth year as the Director of Athletics for the Penn State Mont Alto Athletic Department. Brennan began her tenure on July 1, 2016 and oversees Mont Alto's 12 varsity sport programs that supports over 150 student-athletes annually. Brennan is the second full-time director of athletics in Mont Alto's rich history of varsity athletics.
Brennan made her way from Hood College where she served as the Associate Director of Athletics, Compliance Officer, and Senior Woman Administrator. She moved into the administrative side of athletics full time after serving as the head coach of the field hockey program from 2002-12. Brennan also coached women's lacrosse from 2003-07, and was named the conference coach of the year in both sports during the 2005 season. Her 2005 field hockey squad won the Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference Championship.
A total of 30 players have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad under her direction. On the field, Brennan's players earned 19 all-conference honors in field hockey, and 21 in women's lacrosse.
Brennan played field hockey for Catawba College, an NCAA Division II school in Salisbury, N.C. In her four years at Catawba she started all 63 games, was named to the All-Deep South team, received the Coaches Award, and served as a co-captain her senior year.
After receiving a bachelor's degree in communication arts from Catawba, Brennan attended Towson University where she earned her master's degree in mass communications.
