Mont Alto Basketball Preps for 3's for THON Games

Saturday, January 27th marks the first game for Mont Alto Basketball's 3's for THON. 3's for THON is a conference wide initiative throughout the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) to raise money to support THON.

Penn State Mont Alto basketball student-athletes can raise funds by contacting local businesses, family members, friends, and other donors to donate for each successful three-point basket made or a flat donation rate.

This year, Mont Alto is hosting two dates for 3's for THON, Saturday, January 27th and Monday, January 30th. There will also be a THON donation table set up in the MAC lobby for anyone who wants to donate to THON. If you're not able to make it to the games but are interested in donating please connect with Kim Plezia by stopping in the MAC,  emailing (kdl28@psu.edu) or calling at 717-749-6187. Donations will also be accepted online by visiting THON Donations and selecting Penn State Mont Alto under the "credit an organization" section.

Monday, January 30 6pm (Women's) & 8pm (Men's)

Also, at halftime of the men's game on Saturday at approximately 3:30pm, select student-athletes, faculty and staff will be participating in a Pie in the Face event with all proceeds benefitting THON. For $3 a pie, students and fans can line up to pie their favorite coach, student-athlete, or faculty/staff member. All proceeds from the event will benefit THON.
