PSUAC Invitational

STATE COLLEGE, Pa.- The Penn State Mont Alto golf team traveled to State College on Monday to participate in the PSUAC Invitational at the Blue Course. Mont Alto finished the event with a team score of 310, finishing three strokes back of 1st place Shanengo who shot a 307. Ben Irr was one shot off the leader with a round of 75, finishing tied for second. 

Derek Freeman was a stroke behind Irr with a 76. Matthew Salancy was T-13 with a 79. Jacob Bassham rounded out the top 20 for Mont Alto with a 80. Other scores for Mont Alto included Levi Hassinger (83) and Kamea Pierce (114). Up next for the golf team is a return trip back to State College for the PSUAC/USCAA Championship on Monday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 14.
