2025 USCAA/PSUAC Golf Championships, State College, Pa.- Blue Course

STATE COLLEGE, Pa.- Following an opening round 326 in which wet and windy conditions spread throughout the state on Monday, the Mont Alto golf team rebounded in a strong way with a final team score round of 309 on Tuesday. The team finished with a final team score of 635. Penn State York won the 2025 PSUAC Team Championship by shooting a 632. Penn State DuBois was one stroke behind York with a 633.

Penn State York's Dylan Yinger followed up a 72 on Monday with an one under 71 on Tuesday to win the USCAA/PSUAC Individual title. Mont Alto's Jacob Bassham (T-11th) and Derek Freeman (T-20th) each finished in the top twenty. Ben Irr shot a 82-79 to place T-38th, Levi Hassinger carded a 79 on Tuesday to finish T-55th and Matthew Salancy improved three strokes on Tuesday to record 88-85.

This event wrapped up another successful for the Mont Alto golf team in which they recorded four first place finishes and one second place finish in six events.

Levi Hassinger was named a USCAA Academic All-American for his efforts in the classroom. Jacob Bassham picked up second team USCAA All-American honors. Bassham's strong play also netted him a spot on the PSUAC All-Conference team.
