Men's Soccer: Penn State Schuylkill 2, Penn State Mont Alto 1
MONT ALTO, Pa.- Penn State Mont Alto men's soccer played host to Penn State Schuylkill in PSUAC action on Wednesday afternoon. Mont Alto was able to cut the lead to one in the second half, but couldn't find the equalizer as they fell 2-1 in the home regular season finale.
David Hauer III found the back of the net early for Schuylkill in the 6th minute on an assist from Mathias Hernandez. Michael Merianos would increase the lead to 2-0 in the 23rd minute on an unassisted goal.
Mont Alto clawed back in the 74th minute when Cristobol Palma took a Garrett DiBenio pass into the box with a couple dribbles and beat keeper Bryce Hensley for his first goal of the season.
Mont Alto had other chances in the second half but failed to find the equalizer, falling to Schuylkill 2-1.
