Mont Alto knew this year was for rebuilding, but Coach Danner isn't going to allow his team to believe they can't do something special right now. Mont Alto fought hard against visiting PSUAC opponent Schuylkill in the first game of a double header today.
Despite the loss, Mont Alto showed some good signs at the plate. Diamond Byers had 4 hits with 3 RBI's, including 2 doubles and a 2 run home run. Although Chapin Guiliante gave up 7 walks, she also had a bright spot in having 7 strike outs.
Mont Alto lost the game 10-5.
