The Mont dropped two games to Hazleton on Wednesday...

Senior Day was a rough one for Mont Alto as they dropped both game sin a double header against visiting Penn State Hazleton. The ladies played hard, and were up 3-1 in the first game heading into the 6th inning. With 2 outs it seemed like the inning was over, but Hazleton started swinging for their season, and ended up scoring 8 runs in the 6th.
Hazleton would add one more in the 7th, and kept Mont Alto to their 3 runs for the game. Brooke Porter had 2 hits, and 2 RBI's, including a home run for the Mont on her Senior Day.
The second game found Hazleton starting off with 4 runs in the top of the first, but Mont Alto made quite the come back as they forced Hazleton into extra innings. In the 8th however, Hazleton put up 6 runs, and Mont Alto had no answer in the bottom of the inning.
Seniors Brooke Porter, Shannon Dolan, and Chapin Guiliante were honored for their successful careers in between games.
