Game One: Penn State Mont Alto 6, Penn State Beaver 2

MONT ALTO, Pa.- Mont Alto softball continued its winning ways on Saturday afternoon, picking up a 6-2 game one victory against Penn State Beaver. Kira Weikert went the distance in the circle, picking up her eighth win on the season. Mont Alto was able to scatter multiple extra base hits on the day as Terri Williams, Alyssa Wiles, Sarah Devilbiss and Cammble Sterner each recorded a double. Mont Alto's big inning was the bottom of the second when they scored three runs on three hits as Terri Williams plated two runs after two of the first three hitters reached in the inning.

Game Two: Penn State Mont Alto 11, Penn State Beaver 3 (F/5)

MONT ALTO, Pa.- It wasn't until the bottom of the fourth inning in which Mont Alto provided seperation and defeated Beaver 11-3 via mercy rule to move to 4-0 on the weekend. With the home team ahead 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Mont Alto went on to score five runs in the frame on four hits. Sarah Devilbiss singled, Hailey Spielman doubled and Cammble Sterner also doubled to provide the big hits in the inning. After Beaver responded with one run in the top of the fifth, Terri Williams plated two on her RBI triple and Alyssa Wiles ended the game on a sacrifice fly to right field. Rachel Alleman picked up the win in her start going 4 and 1/3 innings and allowing six hits.
