Looking to keep the conference winning going after last night's victory going against Greater Allegheny, Mont Alto started off well against visiting Penn State Beaver.
A back and forth first half, Mont Alto fought hard. The shots fell for Beaver however, and Mont Alto went into halftime down by 10, 40-30.
Mont Alto came out of the half playing strong, but Beaver's defense kept Mont Alto's shots bouncing off of the rim. Mont Alto shot only 28% from the field, and 8% from the 3 point line. Although they were able to get all 10 players to score, Mont Alto didn't have enough to get it done.
Beaver ended the night against Mont Alto with a 73-50 victory. Mont Alto has a week off before traveling to Penn State Fayette on Saturday.
