Weekend basketball preview
COVID-19 protocols have caused a few changes, but both teams will still participate in this weekend's Coach Parrish Petry Basketball Invitational.
Due to COVID issues within some programs involved in this weekend's Coach Parrish Petry Basketball Invitational, the scheduling has changed for the women's basketball tournament. The updated schedule is as follows:

Saturday January 8
Women's: Penn State Mont Alto vs CCBC Essex 2 p.m. *Update: game has been canceled*
Men's: Penn State Mont Alto vs Villa Maria 5 p.m.
Sunday January 9
Men's: Penn State Mont Alto vs Central Penn 1 p.m.
Women's Preview
The new schedule pits Penn State Mont Alto up against undefeated Community College of Baltimore Essex, who is currently #7 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II poll. Penn State Mont Alto sits one game back of the #4 spot in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference west division standings with a 2-5 conference record. The top four teams from each division reach the postseason tournament.
