Bishop named PSUAC honorable mention
Bishop provided some clutch offensive games for Penn State Mont Alto down the stretch, earning a spot on the PSUAC honorable mention list.
Madison Bishop finished off a strong senior season for Penn State Mont Alto, as she was recognized as one of the conference's honorable mention selections on Thursday evening. Bishop averaged 8.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Bishop was also named an honorable mention in 2019-20 following a strong sophomore season where she averaged 11.6 points, 7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
Her season-high in points came on February 10, 2022 against Trinity Washington University, when she scored 20 points on 6 of 12 shooting. Bishop converted on 6 of 7 three-pointers in the game.
She finishes her Penn State Mont Alto career with 617 points, registering 76 made three pointers.
Mylisse Spurgon was also recognized as the Mont Alto campus receipient of the John Fritz Sportsmanship Award, the award is given to one student-athlete on each sports team that best displays good sportsmanship and demonstrates ethical, appropriate, polite and fair behavior while participating in athletic events and as a member of their team.
