Women's Basketball: Penn State Mont Alto 69, Penn State Fayette 46
MONT ALTO, Pa.- Mont Alto women's basketball started their crossover weekend with a 69-46 victory over west division opponent Penn State Fayette. After taking a 26-23 advantage into the break, Mont Alto shot well over 50% in the final two quarters to cruise to the 23 point win. Victoria Kalp led Mont Alto with 26 points, going 4 of 9 from the three point line and a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line. Dariana Perez tallied 22 points with 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals in the winning effort.
Women's Basketball: Penn State Beaver 86, Penn State Mont Alto 75
MONT ALTO, Pa.- Mont Alto dropped the second game of the crossover weekend after hanging tight with Penn State Beaver for three periods by a final of 86-75. Bailey Rieg and Ny'Ashia Barnes each tallied 22 points for Beaver. Dariana Perez led all scorers with 33 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The fourth quarter was the difference in the contest with Beaver shooting 7 of 19 while Mont Alto went 4 for 14 from the field.
