Women's Soccer: Penn State Schuylkill 3, Penn State Mont Alto 1
MONT ALTO, Pa.- Mont Alto women's soccer hosted Penn State Schuylkill on Wednesday afternoon in a matchup amongst the top two teams in the PSUAC standings. Leah Alexander scored twice for Schuylkill, tallying the opener and the final goal for the visitors. After 20 plus minutes of scoreless action, Alexander found the net to open up the scoring in the 27th minute. Olivia Dress pushed the Schuylkill lead to two with an unassisted tally in the 34th minute.
Cameron Dillow cut the Schuylkill lead to 2-1 with an unassisted goal in the 45th minute. Alexander later recorded her second goal in the 61st minute on an assisted pass from Olivia Dress.
Mont Alto will now travel to New Kensington on Saturday at 2pm in the regular season finale.
