USCAA Women's Soccer Championships- Pool Play: Christendom 3, Penn State Mont Alto 1
Following an opening night loss to NHTI 3-0, Mont Alto dropped their final contest of pool play in the USCAA Championships in a rubber match to Christendom College by a final of 3-1. Mont Alto finishes their 2025 season with a 11-8 overall record with the loss.
Christendom got out to an early 1-0 lead on an unassisted goal scored by Gloria Ackla in the first minute. The Crusaders would score the next tally as well as Megan Lovar put them up 2-0 on her unassisted goal in the 15th minute. Christendom went into the half with a 2-0 lead, outshooting Mont Alto 12-4 in the opening frame.
Ackla extended the Crusader advantage to three goals as she scored her second goal of the match in the 56th minute. The Mont Alto comeback effort would fall short however as they were only able to score on a Kaity Hochstrasser goal from Cameron Dillow in the 74th minute.
Serena Keller picked up the win for Christendom as she stopped six of her seven shot attempts. Kira Weikert recorded saves on eight of her 11 shot attempts faced.
