The Mont Alto Women's Volleyball team had their first match of the season last night against host Central Penn. It turned out to be a good trip for the first away match of the season as well for Mont Alto, taking the match at 3 sets to 0 over the Knights.
Mont Alto had 32 kills on the night, with freshman Kelsey Wetzel adding 9 of those. Another freshman, Jenny Halterman had a good time assisting her team in the win with her 28 assists, while sophomore Morgan Burdge served up 5 aces to help her team secure the victory.
Mont Alto will be heading on the road again to Hood College for a Tri-Match on Saturday to face both Hood College and Ursinus College.
